In December 1996, the first city'super opened in Times Square, Causeway Bay. The second city'super store opened at Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui in December 1998. In December 1999, the first LOG-ON, an interactive-lifestyle store, opened at Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong. Then in next few years, the city'super stores in Central and Shatin, the second LOG-ON store at cityplaza, Taikoo Shing and a few Cooked Deli food courts have been opened. city'super becomes a part of our customers' lifestyle by fulfilling daily needs as well as enhancing the quality of their lives.

Information technology plays an important role in city'super's quality customer service. Apart from adopting Seito® Retail Management System in their department stores and Seito® Qfast Management System in Cooked Deli food courts to enhance efficiency, city'super has been issuing membership cards for years. Customers may earn bonus points from any purchase and get rewards. Recently, city'super has launched super e-card and e-gold card. Super e-card is a loyalty card with smart card functions. It allows members to receive bonus points under our Seasonal and Annual Reward Schemes. Members can also charge the card with money to make cash-free purchases. Needless to say, membership scheme is an important part of city'super's customer relationship management.

To cater for the launch of super e-card, Seito has done the modification of our retail management system and fast food management system and enhanced them to support rewritable card printer (Mifare Hybrid Rewritable Card Printer). By showing your super e-card during transactions, every single dollar you spend at city'super, LOG-ON and Cooked Deli will be converted to one bonus point and automatically stored, enabling you to get fruitful rewards at the end of every session. Customer may also update their bonus points record on their super e-card at customer service counter. The surface of the super e-card is rewritable. Therefore, customers are able to know their bonus point information clearly after every transaction.
